The error mainly occurs due to the problems in the internet connection and if there are problems in the devices you use to connect to the web.
The message 'Connection Refused' has three main causes:
- Nothing is listening on the IP or Port you are trying to connect to.
- The website is blocked by a firewall
- Expired caches
Are you able to browse other sites such as Facebook, or Gmail?
Expired caches in your browser could block websites and prevent you from accessing them. This is one of the reasons why you may not reach specific sites. In order to fix this connection refused error, you will have to remove all caches on your browser.
In order to fix this "connection" error, there are a few simple steps that you could apply, such as:
- Clear your browser cache.
- Reset your IP address & flush the DNS cache.
- Check proxy settings.
- Check network settings
