The Educator Quality Division is dedicated to addressing the growing needs of educators who desire to continue their professional growth. Recent feedback from educators across the state indicates that there is a desire for additional feedback and guidance when an educator receives a "does not meet" on a strand of their dossier. This need, along with the demands and surplus of data our educator's are already saddled with, necessitate a continuous evolution in both the materials provided to support educators in the dossier process and the way that they can be utilized. To this end, the Educator Quality Division of the New Mexico Public Education department has developed a series of text, podcast, audio and video resources to assist educators with understanding what a "does not meet" on a strand means.
My only caution to you is be sure to review the correct podcast for the level you are submitting for.
Note: If you wish to resubmit one or more strands, the charge will be $110.00 per strand, or $320 for all three, and you can submit these materials any time within one year of the original submission.
Important: If you are needing specific feedback for a "does not meet", our recommendation is to seek assistance within your school and/or district. Another option is to contact the Regional Educational Cooperative(RECIX) in your district to seek assistance with your submission. We do not meet with educators for one-on-one support as the dossiers are scored by reviewers, and they do not work at our office location.
